The Community Design Committee is actively developing associations in downtown neighborhoods to promote improved home maintenance, restoration and aesthetic qualities and to foster creating the social connections vital to healthy neighborhoods. Our most recent neighborhood initiative is the creation of the Water Tower District Neighborhood Association. Named for the site of Medina’s first water tower. Started in the winter of 2015 the organization already publishes a monthly neighborhood newsletter.
The Design and Graphics committee is actively working with businesses in the Historic District and homes in older neighborhoods to provide color renderings and design advice for renovations, maintenance and building restoration. These services are available through the Community Design Committee at no cost to the property owners.
